We are delighted to announce that National Enterprise Network has been shortlisted in the 2016 Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards. We submitted applications to highlight the success of our 2015 Annual Conference and the impact of our January 2016 #NENandProud campaign – and both projects have been put forward to the shortlisting stage.

1The National Enterprise Network 2015 annual conference is to be judged in the Conference of the Year category. Our #NENandProud campaign is up for two categories – Digital Campaign of the Year and Social Media Award.

The awards programme is formally supported by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills and recognises, rewards and promotes best practice amongst Trade Associations in the UK. Now in their fourteenth year, this prestigious awards programme offers TAF members a chance to showcase their hard work and achievements from the previous 12 to 18 months. We joined the association in June 2015 and you can look back at the announcement here.

We are so pleased to have got this far. We have never applied for any awards before so really are delighted with this recognition. Fingers and toes are now all firmly crossed for an actual win.

Receiving a Best Practice Award will not only provide the kudos of being an award winning organisation benchmarked against other UK trade associations and membership bodies, but also an excellent opportunity to showcase our work amongst our contemporaries and demonstrate the impact we make in support of our membership.

Awards winners will be announced to 300 guests from the UK’s trade associations and membership bodies at the official awards evening on Wednesday, 6th July 2016 in London. We can’t wait to find out if our work will be recognised with a win on the night. Wish us luck!
