Her Biz, a virtual Women’s Start-Up programme delivered by the Let’s Do Business group returns to support aspiring female entrepreneurs in East Sussex and Kent.
Over the last three years, there have been over 20 successful virtual start-up workshops aimed at increasing female entrepreneurship locally, by developing their knowledge, skills, and confidence required to launch a successful business.
Entrepreneurs who complete this program are also eligible for an optional competition, supported by NatWest, to win £500. To be considered for the competition, entrepreneurs must submit their completed business plan within four weeks of the program’s completion.
The programme consists of 4 x 2.5 hour sessions, each from 10 am to 12:30 pm.

This program is open to anyone who has not yet started a business or recently registered as self-employed or a company. Secure your place by Wednesday 11th January 2023.
The programme will help:
- Explore and clarify the entrepreneur’s business idea
- Research the target market and understand competitors
- Understand the numbers, create projections and explore funding options
- Develop a business model and kick-start a business plan
- Start shaping the marketing strategy incl. online and social media presence
- Set business goals
- Overview of business types, tax and insurance, accounting software and bank accounts
- Provide the tools to help with taking the next step
- Gain peer support from like-minded people
- Refine the entrepreneur’s individual plan through a 1-2-1 session with a Start-Up Coach
