Supporting our members by promoting their successes

We recognise that by representing the enterprise support sector in England, we have a unique opportunity to collectively amplify the individual voices of our members. One of the ways that we can do this, is by promoting their successes and demonstrating the value they add to local communities and the wider economy.

 

Here are a few ways that we promote our members.

  • Annual Enterprise Impact Campaign
    Each year we collect and analyse data from our membership. The data is then distributed in an online shareable campaign focused on the collective Enterprise Impact of our members.
  • NEN Awards
    Our annual NEN Awards were established over 10 years ago to support and celebrate the achievements of our members. The Awards not only celebrate excellence in the delivery of enterprise support, but also encourage the exchange of good practice and the development of improved services and organisations. The Awards offer our members an opportunity to boost their external reputation, increase motivation and pride internally and gain some extra profile exposure within the membership network, as well as with local and regional press.
  • Highlighting our members’ work during representation meetings
    Attending meetings, events and conferences with government and others in the public and private sector is a key part of our representation work. Wherever possible and appropriate, we will reference and promote the work of our members during these meetings.
  • Social media amplification
    NEN has a strong presence on social media, with over 4,000 followers on Twitter alone. By promoting the news, events and successes of our members, we are able to offer them greater reach and engagement with an even wider audience.
